Description:
This exotic, yet affordable eco-lodge near Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon, has been operating as an alternative health retreat. It is however, suitable for a multitude of uses focusing on aspects such as: eco-tourism, adventure-tourism, religious gatherings, conferences or spiritual retreats.
The property itself is located at kilometer 14.5 on the all-weather highway connecting the towns of Iquitos and Nauta and is only 10km from an Iquitos’ International airport.
Originally built in 2005 in a tropical botanical garden adorned with 3 Water Lily fish ponds and numerous palm trees, the buildings were built in a traditional style. Currently, the configuration consists of 3 buildings : 4 single rooms, 4 double rooms and 1 triple room with 3 bathrooms, garage and a staff house. There are also 2 large terraces in the main building which serve as the dining and social area of the lodge.
The lodge receives a municipal electrical supply, has its own private water source, and benefits from additional privacy and security by being surrounded by a 3m high solid brick wall.
This property provides a unique jungle experience which will give to its owners and visitors alike, a genuine appreciation for this important, beautiful and bio-diverse region. With its exotic vegetation and pleasant temperature (25-30°C) throughout the year, there can be little argument this region is a true jungle paradise.
